Who We Are...

Preservation & Protection Systems, Inc., (PPSI) was founded in the summer of 1985 by Marty Fischer and Steve Gordon with the goal of providing professional sales representation to quality manufacturers.

PPSI’s long history of bringing advanced technologies and products to market is a testament to our representative’s passion for the architectural industry. We pride ourselves in providing quality solutions for project specific complexities in your building envelope, cladding, and interior finish systems.

As independent reps, we focus on the entire assembly rather than just single components. This allows us to provide recommendations based on overall performance, encouraging architects to building sustainable and efficient buildings that meet code.

Having represented quality manufacturers for 35 years, PPSI has been involved with most of the high-profile projects in the region including the National Museum of the American Indian, The Pentagon, Dulles and Reagan Airports, and all of the major museums and sport stadiums.

Full Assembly System Budgets | VE Review

Budget numbers on products represented by PPSI are critical to the design and construction community. Accurate furnish and install pricing are invaluable with preconstruction services teams in helping develop that critical GMP to go to contract. PPSI welcomes the opportunity to communicate a set of DD or early CD documents, with quality materials matched to the right subcontractor to achieve buildable numbers.

CAD/Revit Services

Details | Shop Drawings | Takeoffs

PPSI will provide fully integrated shop drawings for all air barrier projects along with custom project specific detail support. We also have a library of details to solve many common design challenges in transitioning materials and assemblies, assuring compatibly and performance. These services have been expanded to include take-offs to aid our manufacturers and subcontractors in request for quotes and bid proposals.

Field Support

Pre-Installation | On-site Detail Review | Training

PPSI is committed to servicing the market and projects with strong technical skills to provide a high level of support at pre-installation trailer meetings, challenging detail problem/resolution site visits and walk throughs on existing roofs and buildings to provide the best selection, detailing and specification of materials. We work with our manufacturers to develop training programs for products and systems, ensuring subcontractors can deliver and execute the architect's design intent.
