Imperfecto is a new, upscale eatery in the West End neighborhood of Washington, DC. Designed by Greek-Swedish studio OOAK Architects, the project features a mixed material palette with terrazzo, marble, wood, terracotta and brass to create a beautiful, modern Mediterranean ambience to compliment the restaurant’s cuisine.

Particularly impressive in the restaurant’s design is terrazzo floor in the main entry and bar area. OOAK selected a palladiana style terrazzo floor which uses larger fragments of marble embedded into the epoxy base. This creates a unique, organic pattern in with the large marble placement.

With a 75 year history of relationships with stone quarries from around the world and their position as the largest epoxy resin supplier in the terrazzo industry, Terrazzo & Marble Supply Company has a unique position in the industry to help source and supply palladania style projects.
