Resin Selection

We tint our epoxy using liquid dispersion, similar to how paint is tinted. We are able to match any paint color from all major paint companies (ie. Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Pantone, etc.).

02.

Aggregate Selection

We have a beautiful range of aggregates sourced from all over the world. Aggregates include natural marble, recycled glass, porcelain, and even oyster shells.

03.

Production

Custom samples are all made to order. They are poured and ground by hand and typically take 2 weeks to produce. We understand that you likely need your samples as quickly as possible. We keep stocked a limited inventory of favorite samples that we can send out immediately to use for client meetings/presentations while your custom samples are being made!

/Installation

02. Installation

Poured-in-pace terrazzo is a highly artistic floor finish, requiring the most skilled and experienced flooring contractors/craftsmen to produce beautiful and timeless floors. We supply our materials exclusively to National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA) contractor members who are proficient in all types of terrazzo systems and abide by the NTMA’s stringent quality-assurance standards.

Moisture Vapor Treatment

Moisture Vapor Treatment

Terroxy by Terrazzo & Marble Supply

T&M's Moisture Vapor Treatment is ideal for cured concrete that exhibits excessive moisture vapor transmission. Terroxy Moisture Vapor Treatment is a low viscosity, water-based epoxy primer designed specifically to penetrate the capillaries of damp or green concrete, and shut off vapor drive within the slap. PPSI recommends building in moisture treatment on all slab on grade and lightweight concrete applications, as we almost always see high moisture readings in these areas.

/Details

Concrete Slab Details

01. Contraction Joint Detail

Commonly referred to as "Saw Cuts" or "Control Joints", designed to control volume change in the slab.

02. Optional Contraction Joint Detail

Single strip detail to be used in conjunction with Detail 1, allowing for a low profile 16 gauge strip in lieu of the back-to-back L strips.

03. Option for Art Work

Buried Saw Cut detail, also used in conjunction in Detail 1 at interim control joints between columns. This detail is ideal of artwork or logos.

04. Isolation Joint

Engineered to separate movement in load-bearing columns from concrete floor slabs.

05. Terrazzo Control Jointing Over Full Elastomeric Membrane

For designs incorporating full crack isolation membrane, reference joint shall occur at a maximum 30 ft spacing in any direction.

06. Random Crack Detail

Detail all through-slab random cracks with iso-crack membrane and fabric.

07. Construction Joint

Detail for "Cold Joints" or "Pour Stops" that will require doweling to restrict movement to the horizontal plane. Continuous rebar in elevated slabs eliminates the need for dowels, allowing to use Detail 3.
