KIPP DC College Preparatory High School hosts over 850 students and is located near theGallaudet / NOMA metro station allowing access for 80% of its students that rely on public transportation. The architecture not only takes advantage of stunning panoramic views of Washington but also integrates the school into the landscape with its light tones and dense structure.

Parklex Prodema wood grain panels were used to highlight openings, especially entrances adding a visual contrast and a sense of warmth, while also aiding in navigation. The Parklex Prodema panels were attached with a concealed clip to a carrier rail.
